Gail Hughes Harper

Mrs. Gail Hughes Harper, 70, of Auburn, GA. and formerly of Dalton passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. “Buddy” and Louise Steele Hughes.

Gail was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton and attended Bethlehem Church in Braselton, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gerald Harper of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Trena and Brian Berry of Auburn, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Berry and Abigail Berry; sister, Rose (Jim) Polk of Titusville, FL; brother, Larry “Buddy” (Diane) Hughes of Dalton; special nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Scobell officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
