Gail Lawson Turner

Mrs. Gail Lawson Turner, 88, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, June 16, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Pauline Lawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert M. Turner; brother, Terry Lawson; and son-in-law, Jim Watkins.

Gail was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and was greatly loved by all of them.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kay Turner Watkins and Robert Kevin Turner (Pam); grandchildren, Kaitlin Turner Mason (Andrew) and Lauren Marigail Watkins; great-granddaughters, Cecily Turner Mason and Jemma Kate Mason; siblings, Linda Stephens Berry and Janice English Conway (Art). Also, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Dalton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2 PM in the Atrium of the church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers who became like family, Lauren and Marley Thomas.
