Gladys Hunt Bass

Mrs. Gladys Hunt Bass, 97, of Dalton passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018.

She was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church. She was born May 12, 1921, daughter of the late Pascal and Julie Harville of Savannah, Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lester H. Hunt and William Bass; eight brothers and two sisters.

Gladys is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Eva Hunt, Howard and Marilyn Hunt; grandchildren, Dewayne (Arlene) Hunt, David (Lisa) Hunt, Dwight (Kimbra) Hunt, Brian (Judy) Hunt, Leslie (Roger) Young and Jason Hunt (Smitha); also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Bagley and Dr. Duane Mills officiating.

Interment will be at the City Cemetery in Summerville, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.
