Grover B. Stanley, Jr.

Mr. Grover B. Stanley, JR, 67, of Dalton passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Grover Stanley, SR. and Jessie Lee Stanley and was preceded in death by his son Egan Stanley and sister Ola May Brooks.

JR loved his family and was very devoted to his wife, grandsons and daughter-in-law. He enjoyed the outdoors and feeding his birds every morning.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda Gail Stanley of the residence; daughter-in-law, Kasonndra Stanley of Dalton; grandchildren, Ty Stanley and Weston Stanley; sisters, Gail Green and Bobbie Brookshire both of Dalton; brother, Michael Stanley of Calhoun; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Danny and Carol Hix, Wayne Hix and special friend Jeannie Davis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

The Family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11 until 1.
