Harold Wilburn McMahon (known by some as Mac), age 90, of Dalton, passed away March 14, 2018 at Tranquility of Dalton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Walker and Onie Deverell McMahon; sister, Pauline Hardin; brothers, D.W., Carl, and Ralph McMahon.

Mr. McMahon was parts manager for Brooker Ford and Brooker Motor Company for 37 years and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Dalton. He also proudly served in the U.S. Military.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Martha Morgan McMahon of Tranquility of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Debbe and Rod Mays of Greenville, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Debbie McMahon of Dalton; grandchildren, Morgan and Michael Benthall of Greenville, SC and Eli McMahon of Dalton; great grandchildren, Mays and Eliza Benthall of Greenville, SC; sister, Doris Ownby of Cohutta; sisters-in-law, Daisy McMahon of Cleveland and Juanita McMahon of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16 at 3 PM at Grace Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rod Mays and the Rev. David Eades officiating.

A private burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 until the time of the funeral.
