Hazel Irene Sandidge

Hazel Irene Thompson Sandidge of Dalton departed this life Friday, November 29.  She passed away at home with her family by her side.

Hazel was born April 6, 1930 and was 89.

She was preceded in death by her father & mother, Fred & Stella (Cochran) Thompson; her husband, Wilford Alton Sandidge; son, Nathan Miles Sandidge; brothers, Odell, Bill, & Sewell Thompson; sisters, Lema Dugger & Zora Cochran.

Hazel is survived by her children, Sherry (Tim) Brown, Joy (Carter) Tankersley, Tina (Tom) Davis & Trammell (Denise) Sandidge. She is also survived by many grandchildre, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Hazel was a loving mother & grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

The family would like to thank Mary Terry, Linda Dampier & Amedisys Hospice Group for the care & love they showed mom.

Services to celebrate the life of Hazel Irene Sandidge will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
