Imogene E. Smith

Mrs. Imogene Eloise Smith, 92, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Monday, March 29, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Smith, and one son, Darrell Smith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Rewanda (Bruce) Gray, Arretha Gazaway, Kay (David) Hedden, and Denny F. Smith; sister, Aveleen Chadwick; three (3) grandchildren; twelve (12) great-grandchildren; and one (1) great-great-grandchild. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Smith will be Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home with Reverend Hershell Pierce officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday prior to the funeral service from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.

Due to the COVID-19 national health crisis, the family requests that those attending the funeral and visitation please wear masks and practice social distancing.
