Imogene Akins Trollinger

Imogene (Jean) Akins Trollinger, 88, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Trollinger was born on August 20, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Trollinger; parents, Paul and Leatta Wimpy Akins; and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Trollinger.

Mrs. Trollinger is survived by her children, Kathy (Pat) Brittle, Michael Wayne Trollinger, and Craig Lamar Trollinger; grandchildren, Shannon Goble, Jennifer (Scottie) Ridley, Brittni (Koty) Swanson, Matthew Trollinger, Ashley Trollinger, Cassie Trollinger, Kaitlyn Trollinger, and Andrew Trollinger; and great-grandchild, Mazie Goble. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Trollinger will be Friday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Love Funeral Home.
