Jack Robert "Bob" Greeson

Jack Robert Greeson “Bob”, 86, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Bob was born October 22, 1935 in Homerville, GA to the late Jack and Irene Greeson. He was raised in the Chatsworth community and graduated high school from the Georgia Military Academy. Bob went on to receive degrees from the University of Georgia, University of West Georgia and Georgia State University. He served 32 years in education, working with Whitfield County Schools and Calhoun City Schools.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Thomason Greeson; children, Krista Colvin (Mike) and Kevin Greeson; grandchildren, Nicolette (Allen), Paige, Kristan (Zane), Emilee, Jack II and Raylee; great-grandchildren, Josie and Lottie; brother, Tom Greeson (Jeannette); nieces and nephews; special friend, Kari Bingham.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at Grace Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 PM and again immediately following the service.
