Joanne Liles Jones

JoAnne Liles Jones, 86, of Dalton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at home with her husband and daughters by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Shaffer and Mary Jo Liles and one brother, Pierce Liles.  She is survived by her husband, of 67 years, Edward Jones; daughters, Laraine Jones, Leslie (John) Hudson, and Andrea (Roger) Hughes; Grandchildren, Whitney (Michael) Cantrell, Kingsley (Stephen) Strickhausen, Seaver Hudson, Weston (Lacy) Hughes, and Hogan Hughes;  Great-grandchildren, Cole, Bray, Asa & Noa Cantrell, Marlie, Camdyn, Sloane, & Dakota Strickhausen, Riot Hudson, Coley & Hanes Hughes; sisters-in-law, Marge Barton and Ann Liles; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health and Amedisys Hospice Care as well as special caregivers, Dalia Rodriquez, Elaina Sanchez and Peggy Hammontree.

Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home, Friday, January 17, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Central Church of Christ, 515 N. Tibbs Rd., Dalton, GA  30720.
