John "J.B." Postelle

Mr. John Burlin “J.B.” Postelle, age 93, of Dalton passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born to the late John Postelle and Jane McArthur Postelle.

J.B. is also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Nicholson Postelle; brothers, James Arvil Postell and Jess Postell; infant sister, Georgia Ellen Postelle and sister, Ella Mae Williamson; sister-in-law, Lucy Postell; daughter-in-law, Sherry Barker Postelle.

Survivors include his children, Tad and Tammy Postelle of Dalton, Ronnie Postelle of Hartford, Maine and Dianne Anderson of Dalton; six grandchildren, Tara Miller, Hollie Williams, Aimee Anderson, Telina Spencer, Adam Postelle and Josh Postelle; 14 great-grandchildren, Conor and Colin Miller, Jackson and Allison Calhoun, Luke Williams, Bailee Postelle, Ronnie Postelle, Taylor, Regan, and Austin Barnes, Allison Spencer, and Noah, Denver, and Nicholas Postelle; brother, William "Bill" Postelle of Blue Ridge, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Dean Osuch officiating. Burial will follow in Cove Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday after 5 PM at the funeral home.
