Jorge Manuel Estevez

Jorge Manuel Estevez, 59, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Jorge was born in Havana, Cuba, and grew up in Elizabeth, NJ. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Estevez.

Jorge is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Maria Estevez; his children, Christopher Estevez (Patsy) and Katelynn Estevez (Juan Arango); his mother, Esther Estevez; and five grandchildren. Jorge enjoyed life to the fullest and had the nickname “Warrior,” as that word symbolized for his family his fight against cancer. Jorge was an avid fan of the New York Mets.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jorge Estevez will be on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
