Mrs. Judith 'Judy' Caldwell, age 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, March 3, 2025.
She was born on Tuesday, August 16, 1938 in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late Mr. William Morris Sanders and Mrs. Mary Brown Sanders.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. W.R. ‘Ears’ Caldwell, her brother, William Morris Sanders, Jr., and her grandson, Zack Hall.
Judy is survived by her children, Missy Flowers (Gary) Waters and Terry Flowers Hall; her grandchildren, Robbie (Andrea) Lopez and Rebecca Hall; her great-grandchildren, Alana (Josh) Dunagan, Tristan Lopez, Zack Kaylor, Elijah Holcomb, Lexie (Jacob) Anthony, and Dahlia and Corgan O'Malley; and her great-great-granddaughter, Jaelyn Dunagan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Patsy Sanders; her nephew, Bill Sanders; her nieces, Betts Sanders, Marion (Eric) Kinard, and Trisha (Jacob) Bowland. Others who survive Judy include her husband’s children and grandchildren, Debbie Richardson, David Caldwell, Richard Caldwell, and Terri Young.
The family wishes to express their most heartfelt sympathies to the staff of Homespun Hospice, especially nurses Hollie, David, and Michelle. Additionally, they would like to thank their very special friend, Angie Bettis.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Judy Caldwell will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She will be laid to rest with her husband, the late Mr. W.R. 'Ears' Caldwell.
Her family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
