Judy Love Joyce

It is with great sadness that the family and staff of Love Funeral Home announce the passing of Judy Love Joyce.

Judy passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She loved her family “THE MOSTEST” and they loved her even more. She was a member of Dalton First United Methodist Church. Judy dedicated most of her life in service and ministry to individuals and families served by Love Funeral Home. Her compassionate and loving heart touched countless lives throughout our community and Northwest Georgia. Her legacy is that beacon of light, love and compassion that continues to live through her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Odean Love. Judy is survived by her husband, Charles Joyce; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jill Joyce; granddaughters, Lindsay Jenkins (Luke) and Hannah Joyce; great-grandson, Charlie Jenkins; sister, Linda Cornelison; sister-in-law, Brenda Glenn (Woody); nieces and nephew, Rhonda Cornelison (Randy), Donna Greeson (Greg), Shannon Ayers (Brett) and Chad Swift (Lia).

The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM on Saturday at Love Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Sunday in the chapel with Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating. Judy’s family will lay her to rest at West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
