June Broome

Mrs. June Collette Broome, 87, of Dalton passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Naomi Quinton Collette and was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Grover A. Broome and a very special relative, Marcie Beach Corbin Wilson.

June was born and raised in Dalton and made many friends as a beautician in the community for over 50 years. She was a faithful and devoted pastor’s wife for 60 years and a special confidant and mentor to numerous congregants and friends.

She is survived by her very special relatives, Connie Cargal of Dalton, Amber Corbin Yeargin of Kennesaw, GA, Bruce Beach of Rocky Face, Sheryl Gillean and Beverly Wimpy both of Dalton.

Services will be Monday at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Beach officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 1 p.m. until the service at 4 p.m.
