Katherine Anne Rowe

October 5, 1956 — February 11, 2021

Katherine Anne Rowe, 64, of Dalton passed away at her home on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, H. Tommy Kent and Anna Jane Kent, and her grandparents, Ernie and Carrie Mae Kirk and Earl and Elsie Kent.

Anne is survived  by her husband, Michael Rowe; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie Anne Romo (Juan Flores); her son, Joel Rowe; her grandchildren, Connor Romo, Caitlin Romo, and Carson Flores; her brother and sister-in-law, Kirk and Donna Kent; her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Eddie Jarrett; her niece, Laura Jarrett; and special friend Wynelle Kent.

Anne was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton where she served as Director of the Cherub Choir for more than 30 years. Funeral services will be held in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church on Saturday, February 13, at 4:30 p.m. with Dr. Jonathan Barlow and Reverend Phillip Cannon officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the Church. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peeples Cancer Center, 1200 Memorial Drive, Dalton, GA 30720 or to the Northwest Georgia Humane Society, P. O. Box 3946, Dalton, GA  30719.
