LaPhene Amos Lane

Mrs. LaPhene Amos Lane, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home.

LaPhene was a faithful member of Olivia Baptist Church for over 60 years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Burke Lane, parents, King and Lois Amos, brother, Milton Amos, and sister, Patty Ruth McClendon.

Survivors include her children, David and Betty Lane, DaPhene and Felipe Hernandez, Datta Lane and Ranny and Rhonda Lane; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, sister, Gwendolyn Blackwell, numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

The service to honor and celebrate Mrs. LaPhene Amos Lane will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 4 PM at Olivia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 AM until the funeral hour at 4 PM.

Speakers will be Pastor John Everette and Brother Bruce Beach. Her pallbearers will include her grandsons, Brian Lane, Andy Lane, Ranon Lane, Noah Hernanez, Esai Lane, Hector Chiessa, Zach Holcomb and Joe Brewer.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and nurses, Shain and Tim, for their exceptional care during this time.
