Lillian Faye Stanley

Mrs. Lillian Faye Stanley, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19th, 2024.  She was born on Saturday, May 14th, 1932.  Lillian retired from Shaw Industries Sample Division after 26 years.  Lillian’s favorite pastime was meeting friends and shopping at the mall.  She also enjoyed gardening, camping, and spending time with her friends and family.  She was a member of Riverbend Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lloyd Stanley; her parents, Henry Clinton and Mary Ellen Godfrey Putnam; her brothers, Donald Putnam and Trammel Putnam.  Survivors include her brother, Henry (Patty) Putnam; son, Gary A. (Diane) Stanley; grandchildren, Taylor (Johanna) Stanley, and Kelsey (Chase) Aurandt; great-grandchild, Rylee Margo Aurandt; and her precious dog, Owen.  A funeral service to honor and celebrate Lillian’s life will be held on Sunday, September 22, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Sloan and Reverend Ross Jordan officiating.  Lillian will be laid to rest in Stanley Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Georgia, following the service.  Her family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
