Linda Lewis Allen

Linda Lewis Allen, 78, of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Baroness Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Bertice Lewis, and her late husband, Garland Headrick.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, James Allen; children, Todd Headrick (Meredyth), Cassie Short (Dean), Carol Allen, and Amanda Johnson (Brenk); adored grandchildren, Madison Headrick Nahmad (Joe), Keely Headrick, Lachlan Headrick, Grier Short, Levi Short, Beck Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson; siblings, Gerry Lewis (Pam), Juanita Stephenson, Reba Thompson (Morris); sister-in-law, Susan Jewell (Jon); and brothers-in-law, Bruce Headrick (Debbie) and Steve Headrick (Karen). Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Linda’s greatest joy in life came from her family. She and James were actively involved in the lives of their children and grandchildren. Her devotion and love for her family was evident to all who knew her. Her love as a wife, mother, and grandmother will be missed by those individuals who were recipients of that amazing love. Linda was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton.

Funeral services for Linda Lewis Allen will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Dalton. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral in the Atrium of the Church from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Linda would want you to hug someone…often!
