Linda Hensley Swaim

Linda Hensley Swaim, 77, of Dalton, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital on Thursday, June 23, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Hensley, and her aunt, Nellie Akins, and uncle, Berry Akins.

Mrs. Swaim is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gary Swaim; her beloved children, Amy (Jimmy) Cowart of Tampa, FL, Julie (Dr. Alan) Kozarsky of Atlanta, and Chad (Jennifer) Swaim of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jimmy, Abigail, Nicholas, and Chandler Cowart, Caroline and Eliot Kozarsky, and Olivia and Addison Hensley Swaim. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Swaim will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society (3380 Chastain Meadows Parkway, Suite 200, Kennesaw, GA 30144).
