Margie Faye Boyd

Margie Faye Boyd, 79, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Edgbert and Oma Talley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Randal H. Boyd and siblings, Virgil Talley and Mary Helen Wilson.

Over her life Faye enjoyed traveling, shopping and playing the organ at Rocky Face Baptist Church, later her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Boyd (Becky) and Terry Boyd (Shannon); grandchildren, Kent Boyd (Rachel), Amber Brackett (Will), Noah Boyd and Elizabeth Boyd; great-grandchildren, Ansley and Braden Brackett and Jett and Max Boyd; Joedy Karr and family, who was like a son to Faye; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for family and close friends at 1 PM on Saturday at Rock Bridge Community Church Stage 123 with Pastor Matt Evans officiating.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Rock Bridge Community Church, 121 W. Crawford St. Dalton, GA 30720.
