Margie B. Johnson

Margie B. Johnson, passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on April 27, 1949, in Calhoun, Georgia, Margie touched the lives of many with her warmth, and compassion.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her cherished daughter, Tina McFadden, and her brother, Paul Barton.

Her legacy is carried on by her devoted husband and friend of 40 years, Tom D. Johnson; her beloved grandchildren, Bronson Jones, Isley Russ (Justin), and Jasmin McFadden; her loving sisters, Dell McBee and Tammy Defoor; her nephew, Slade Barton; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margie cherished her roles as a mother and grandmother, taking immense pride in her daughter and grandchildren, all of whom brought her boundless joy. Together, Margie and Tom shared a passion for travel, creating countless memories in beautiful destinations.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 until 8 PM at Love Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held later, where Margie will be laid to rest next to her daughter in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
