Marion Rego

Mrs. Marion Rego, 92, of Dalton and formerly of Mystic, CT passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Max and Catherine Kopko and was preceded in death by her husband John Rego, brothers and sisters.

Her life revolved around giving.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Catherine Cope of Dalton; brother, Max L. Kopko of CT; grandchildren, John “J. C.” (Angie) Cope and Katie (Elden) Hasty; great-grandchildren, Kirk Martin Cope, Hunter Hasty, Katie Cope, Remi Hasty and Patti Cope; Don Cope and his wife Laurie; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Friday at 3 pm in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Butler officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until the service at 3.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, GA Chapter, 922 E. Morris St. Dalton, Ga. 30721.
