Martha Ann Horton Duvall

Mrs. Martha Ann Horton Duvall, 73, of Dalton passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at her residence.

She was born October 5, 1944, daughter of the late Claude and Hattie McAfee Horton and was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Duvall and brothers, Dorsey, Ralph, Harvey and John.

She worked at Duvall Chemicals as a bookkeeper for 25 plus years. She was a member of Rock Bridge Community Church and volunteered in the kitchen and the office of the church. She was a loving mother and faithful Christian, those who knew her were blessed by her love and kindness.

Martha is survived by her sons, Woody (Sheila) Mullins and Wes Mullins; grandchildren, Allie Mullins, Emery Mullins, Joshua Mullins, and Tad Mullins; sisters-in-law, Judy Horton and Ruby Weeks; special friends, Jupie Joiner and Linda Smith; cargivers, Starr Niesler and Kathleen West-Walker.

Services will be Sunday at Rock Bridge Community Church at 3:00  with the Rev. Matt Evans and the Rev. Randy Postell officiating.

The body will lie in state at the church from 1 until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
