Nedra White

Mrs. Nedra White, 77, of Dalton passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Dallas Lee and Virginia Bishop White and was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Lee Albertson, brother Fred White and niece Greena Albertson.

Nedra retired from the Whitfield County School System after 42 years of teaching. She loved to read and to teach children to read.  She was a member of Tunnel Hill First Baptist Church and enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren in their activities.

Nedra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Weems White of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and David Ensley and Amy and Burke Hayes all of Rocky Face; sisters and brothers-in-law, Olive King of Lawrenceville, GA, Nancy and Ralph England of Dunwoody, GA and Ella and Aaron Cordle of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Cody Ensley, Carly Ensley, Conner Hayes and Donovan Hayes; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Wood Dale Health Care and Rehabilitation for the love and compassion shown to Nedra and her family.

Funeral services will be at 11 on Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Tyson Griffin and Rev. Dewey Boyd officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
