Ola Vee Payne Higdon

Mrs. Ola Vee Payne Higdon, 88, a resident of Tunnel Hill passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Ola was born November 16, 1929 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Aaron and Ellen Davis Payne and grew up in Chatsworth, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Higdon in March of 2014 and her in-laws, Creed and Nellie Higdon.

Ola leaves behind her children, Shirley Shouse of Michigan, Dr. Danny Higdon of Tunnel Hill and June Cherwalk of Michigan; grandchildren, Joel Kromrei, Nicholas Kromrei and Brendan Cherwalk; great-grandchildren, Grady Kromrei, Henry Kromrei and Beau Kromrei; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Higdon of Tunnel Hill and Tommy Higdon of Dalton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 28th in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Higdon officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from Noon until 2 PM.
