Peggy Louise Ellis

Mrs. Peggy Louise Ellis, 84, of Dalton passed away Sunday morning at home surrounded by family. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Rocky Face.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Ellis; parents, Howard and Flossie Joyce; brother, Rick Joyce; daughter-in-law, Sue Smith.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy Smith and Mike and Connie Ellis; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Fred Foster; two special adopted daughters (great-granddaughters), Brittany Wilcox and Ashley Barker (John); grandchildren, Shaun Smith (Jenny), Angie Prichett, Jenny Keown (Jason), James Wiley, Joseph Wiley (April), Charissa Clark (Jay), Brooklyn Rose (Robert); Amanda Cartwright (Chris Lent), and Celeste Smith (Phillip); twenty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jo Runyan.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Beason and Rev. Chuck Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
