Phillip David Chadwick

Phillip David Chadwick, 81, of Smyrna, GA, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was the son of the late William and Gladys Chadwick. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jones Chadwick; his son, William Keith Chadwick; sisters, Mary Thompson, Mable Craver, Kitty Pearson, and Ann Owen; brothers, William “Bill” Chadwick, Jr. and Paul Chadwick; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Denise Chadwick.

Mr. Chadwick is survived by his son, Kevin Chadwick; granddaughter Brittany (Daniel) Waller; great-grandchildren, Nathanial Chadwick and Eleanor Waller; brother, Jim Chadwick of Smyrna, Vaughn Chadwick of Dalton, and Lucy Denedios of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by the second love of his life, Becky Butler, and her children, Michael (Missy) Butler and Christy Butler, and her grandchildren, Hunter and Saylor Butler. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Chadwick will be held in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Steve Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow at Blackwood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Calhoun, GA. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or individuals are encouraged to send memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
