Polly Caylor

Lillie Pauline “Polly” Caylor, 95, of Dalton, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, Albert Caylor, and her parents, Elmer and Hattie Edwards.

Polly is survived by her husband of 75 years, Justin Caylor; son, Paul Caylor; daughter, Vickie Webster (Russell); grandchildren, Zach Helton and Hunter Capezzone (Marc); great-grandchildren, Lila Helton, Lars Capezzone, Victoria Capezzone, and Nils Capezzone; and special friends, John and Judy Hayes.

She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church. She loved baking and travelling. She was the Assistant Librarian at North Whitfield High School and later worked at Gateway Book Store before retiring to her beach house in Florida, and later to her home on Lake Chickamauga.

A private family service was held on Monday, January 31, 2022, in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Cannon officiating. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery.
