Polly Cooper

Mrs. Jackie Pauline ‘Polly’ Richards Cooper, age 77, of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, September 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Polly was born in Dalton, Georgia, on Friday, July 17, 1947, to the late Mr. Jack and Mrs. Reba Groves Richards.

In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her son, Gregory Cooper, as well as her siblings: her sister Jean Carroll, her sister Lela Akins, her brother Charles Richards, her brother Jack ‘Junior’ Richards, and her brother Jewel Richards.

Polly is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mr. M.B. Cooper, as well as her two sons, David Cooper and Shane Cooper.  Additionally, Polly is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Cooper, Corey Cooper, Korban Cooper, Ryker Cooper, and Silas Cooper.  She is also survived by her great-grandson, Zane Ammons.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Polly Richards will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.  Polly will be laid to rest following the service in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

Polly’s family will receive friends for visitation at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
