Randle Dale Ratcliff

Randle Dale Ratcliff of 23 S. Simmons Flat Rd, Trion, Ga. passed away the morning of December 17th due to a short battle with cancer and heart failure at the age of 84 years, eleven months and seventeen days.

Dale was born on January 1, 1936 in Dalton. Dale's wife Betty (Riddle) Ratcliff preceded him in death by fourteen years.

He loved his family of three children, Feleshia Webb of Trion, Judy Stepanek of Rossville and Tim Ratcliff of Dalton. Dale has 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dale was active with the Masonic Lodge of Tilton and the Dalton Shrine Club. His hobbies included golf, fishing and metal detecting. Dale included family in everything and enjoyed passing knowledge to those willing to listen.

He is survived by additional family members; sisters, Annell Cowan of Tunnel Hill, Joy Cagle of Waleska, GA. and brother, Travis Ratcliff of Kempner, TX; also several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 11 to 3 p.m.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
