Rewanda Jane Reeves Gray

Rewanda Jane Reeves Gray, 76, of Dalton passed away at home surrounded by family on April 25, 2024.

Rewanda’s joy came from her family. She always welcomed others into her home with open arms and a warm meal. She attended Five Springs United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Adventurous at heart, she loved the beach and traveling the country. As the family coined it, she had the “Gazaway go”.

As Rewanda takes her last great adventure, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bruce Gray; children, Amanda Gillean (Robert) and Sean Gray (Lisa); grandchildren, Carter Gillean (Alyssa), Cole Gillean (Alex), Cody Gillean, Cylee Gillean, Cara Gillean, Chloe Gray, Jackson Gray, and Brady Gray; great-grandchildren, Cohen Gillean, Mason Gillean, and Charlie Gillean; sisters, Arreatha Gazaway and Kay Hedden (David); brother, Denny Smith; many beloved first cousins; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 AM until 3 PM. Burial will be in Redwine Cove Cemetery.
