Richard Don Hunter

Richard Don Hunter, 79, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Advent Gordon Hospital in Calhoun. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Frances Hunter; parents, Paul and Louise Hunter; siblings, Terry Hunter, Dale Hunter, and Leon Hunter. Richard is survived by his children and stepchildren, Greg Hunter (Ora Moody), Carla Knight, Lynn Cochran (Bruce), Clay Quinn (Beverly); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and special friend, William Glenn Slaven. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Richard Hunter will be Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Stiles officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
