Ricky Shook

Richard Marlin Shook was born in Dalton, GA September 1, 1957. He was 65 when he went to meet the Lord on November 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Marlin and Elizabeth Shook. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Patricia and William Moreland, grandchildren Vance Lewis, Heather McGatha and Joshua Moreland, and great grandson Kingston Graves, sister Sue Fountain, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Theresa Shook, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Darlene Shook, best friend, Marty Campbell and many nieces and nephews. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday December 10, 2022, at Spring Place Church of God located at 717 Tibbs Bridge Rd Chatsworth, GA 30705.

Richard was known for his kindheartedness, his love of children and his love of sports. He was loved by many and will be remembered by those who knew him. He loved being with his friends in the great outdoors, either playing horseshoes, cornhole or just being together with family and friends. He was at his happiest when he was surrounded by others. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
