Robert "Bobby" Dennard

Robert “Bobby” Dennard Jr., 79, of Dalton passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

He was the son of the late Robert and Helen Dennard and was also preceded in death by his wife, Jane Dennard and siblings, Tom Dennard and Candy Linville.

Bobby spent most of his life in the carpet industry, over 30 years with Galaxy Carpet Mills. He was an avid golfer and member of Dalton Golf and Country Club. Bobby attended the University of Alabama and was a proud Crimson Tide fan.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Jodi Dennard of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Linwood Clement of Dalton; grandchildren, Kaitlind Clement and Leah Clement of Dalton, Reaves and Mary Blythe Coker of Atlanta and Morgan and Newell Hicks of Nashville; great-granddaughter, Olivia Coker; nieces and nephews; special companion, Vivian Duvall of Dalton.

Memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday at Dalton First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 3 PM in the Atrium.
