Robert Tucker Boyett

Mr. Robert Tucker Boyett, 84, passed away in his home on April 26, 2019.

He was born on December 10, 1934 to the late Mr. George Jackson Boyett and Mrs. Annie Tucker Boyett of Dalton.

He graduated from Dalton High School in 1953. He attended Gordon Military College where he played football and then transferred to the University of Georgia where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He served in the United States Army in Korea as a tank commander. He was an avid fisherman, loyal son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his brother, Judge William T. Boyett, his nieces and nephew, Beth Boyett Jordan (Chad), Ginny Boyett Bledsoe (Jonathan), and William T. Boyett Jr. (Dania) all of Dalton; great nieces and nephews; Taylor Kate Boyett, Katie Ray Jordan, Tucker Jordan, Samuel Boyett, Millie Bledsoe, Charlotte Bledsoe, and Henry Bledsoe.

Services will be Monday at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Deal officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 2 until the service at 4 p.m.
