Ronald Eugene Chadwick

Ronald Eugene Chadwick, 81, of Rocky Face, passed away Monday, September 20 , 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Ron was born July 31 , 1940, in Dalton, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by parents Harry T. and Louise (Morgan) Chadwick of Rocky Face, Georgia.  Ron owned and operated NorthStar Marketing, retiring in 2008. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, served as preschool directors. Ron also served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth (Ross) Chadwick; daughter, Jenny Chadwick of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Brent A. and Larissa Chadwick of Rocky Face; grandsons Andre’ Weber (Amy) of Woodstock, GA, Ross Chadwick (Haylee) of Tunnel Hill, and Reade Chadwick of Rocky Face, and great-granddaughter, Paislee Jo Chadwick of Tunnel Hill; sister Joann Hoskins (Lynn); and several other nieces and nephews.

Ron cherished the memories of watching his son and grandsons play high school football and he loved college football.  As a private pilot, he enjoyed flying for business and pleasure.  Ron was an avid golfer for years and loved southern gospel music.

A service to celebrate the life of Ronald Chadwick will be held on Wednesday, September 22 , 2021 at 2:00 pm at Love Funeral Home of Dalton.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  A very special thank you to the staff and doctors at Northwest Georgia Hematology/Oncology, Peeples Cancer Institute, and Amedisys Hospice for their care and compassion.
