Roy Larue

Roy LaRue, 64, of Dalton, passed away at his home on Friday, May 14, 2021. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Howard and Mary Lucille LaRue, and his son, Joshua LaRue.

Roy was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He always put others first in his life and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Herita LaRue; stepchildren, Kim (Wendell) Peebles and Darin (Jenny) Jones; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Voiles; sisters, Becky Cloer and Ann Baxter; sisters-in-law, Brinda (Blendon) Burris, and Donna Gann; niece and nephews, Kendra Stover, Bryan Voiles, Craig Voiles and Derrick Voiles; other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. LaRue will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastors Chris Corbin and Andrew Corbin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
