Ruby Nell Long Weeks

Mrs. Ruby Nell Long Weeks, 77, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Paul and Lou Etta Carswell Long and was preceded in death by her son, Cliff Weeks, Jr.

Ruby was a long time member of Olivia Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved camping, her church family, and her sisters.

Ruby is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Cliff Weeks, Sr. of the residence; children and their spouses, Susan and Earnest Lofty, Lisa and Eddie Davis, and Marc and Carol Weeks all of Dalton; daughter-in-law, Melinda Weeks of Rocky Face; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Correll of Tunnel Hill and Paulette and Carl Sterling of Rocky Face; brother, Ricky Long; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Beach officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Kyle Lofty, Cody Weeks, Austin Coker, James Winter, III, Jonathan Melton, Trent Smyth, and Tyler Weeks serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 until 8.
