Ryan Michael Clark

March 25, 1988 — January 31, 2021

Ryan Michael Clark of Dalton, Georgia, passed into eternal life on January 31, 2021.  Ryan was born on March 25, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia and is survived by his wife, Jeannifer Lotiffhs; parents, Robert Michael Clark (Renee), and Catherine Lyerla; twin sister, Caroline Rendini, brother-In-law, Brian Rendini, sister, Samantha Clark; his grandparents, Betty and Bill Lyerla; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jo An and Jack Clark.

Ryan was a lifelong resident of Georgia and attended Darlington School in Rome, Georgia. Upon graduation, Ryan attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating in 2010. He was currently employed with TKC Management. In his short and blessed life, he was fortunate to experience good family, good friends, good laughs, a wonderful wife, and a relationship with Christ.

Ryan married his best friend, Jeannifer, on July 29, 2017.  They made their life together in Dalton where they enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends, and witnessing to the lost and hurting. Their faith was central to their marriage. Ryan made his faith commitment the calling card of his life and was currently studying to become a pastor. Always sweet of spirit, he could make anyone feel good with his quick, contagious laugh. To know him was indeed to love him.  Inclusive, empathetic, and slow to anger, he always had an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean or cry on. Faith for Ryan was not about demonstrating perfection but admitting to his own failings and sharing Christ’s forgiveness. This authentic faith, along with the ability to connect with complete strangers, helped him in his mission to share the Gospel.  As a result, he led countless others to Christ.

Ryan will be most remembered by his family and friends for his bold faith, his ever-present smile, ready laugh, his love for the great outdoors, and his love for others. His compassion, sense of humor, enthusiam, and love will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Holt International ( https://www.holtinternational.org/ ) or Samaritan’s Purse ( https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ ) would honor Ryan’s memory.
