Sandra Boshers Townsend

Mrs. Sandra Boshers Townsend, 69, of Dalton passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Boshers.

Sandra was a member of Dalton First United Methodist Church. She loved tennis, Bible study, mission trips, reading and puzzles.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Mike Townsend of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Joe Anton of Franklin, TN; son, Greg Townsend and Carria of Dalton; mother, Juanita Harris Boshers of Cross Bridges, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Lisa Boshers of Cross Bridges; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ricky and Debby Townsend of Dalton; grandchildren, Jaxon, Jacob, Jenna Kate, Aidan, Gregory “G”, Zack, Hailey and Jaydien; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Pat Washington of Dalton.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Hamilton Medical Center and Hamilton Hospice for their care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday at Dalton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Willingham, Rev. Chuck Harris and Rev. Doug Jensen officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the Church on Wednesday from Noon until the service at 2.
