Sara Rachel O'Neal

Sara Rachel O’Neal, 84, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Wood Dale Health Care Center. Sara is preceded in death by her parents, John William and Lillie Mae Garner O’Neal. She is survived by her brother and his wife, John (Jean Wray) O’Neal, Jr.; her niece and her husband, Tracy (Roland) Chretien; her nephew and his wife, Rance (Ashlee) O’Neal; great nieces and nephews, Morgan Stinnett, Carson Stinnett, Caroline O’Neal, Rebecca O’Neal, and Trice O’Neal; and many special friends at First Baptist Church of Dalton and in our community.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Reverend Phillip Cannon officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial contributions to the Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Church. Appreciation is expressed to the staff of Wood Dale Health Care Center for their compassionate care of Sara over these past several years.
