Sharry Lynn Mchan

Sharry Lynn McHan, age 62, of Dalton, Georgia, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1961, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to the late Jesse James and Martha Rose Pellom Phurm. Sharry was preceded in death by her husband, Billy McHan, and siblings Jeffery, James, Johnny, and Paul Andrew Phurm, along with sisters Sharon Harris, Becky Lemon, Linda Lewallen, Pauline Holloway, Mary Fuller, and Jeanine Lewallen.

Sharry dedicated many years of her life to Shaw Industry Plant 81, where she worked diligently. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in cooking and indulging in the mysteries of "Murder, She Wrote."

She is survived by her loving children, Rosie and Christopher Henson, and Billy McHan and his fiancé Tasha Bramblett. Sharry will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Aiden, Chloe, Kase, Mckynleigh, Braxton, and Ridge. Additionally, her brother, Roy Phurm, and several nieces and nephews mourn her passing.

A service to celebrate Sharry's life will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
