Sheila Griffin Stancill

Sheila Griffin Stancill, 75, of Rocky Face, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, after a brief illness. Sheila was born on September 17, 1948, to the late Winfred and Mildred Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Stancill, and her sister, Montez Bearden.

Sheila is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Kerri Stancill, and her grandchildren, Kinleigh Stancill, Kaylor Stancill, and Kamryn Stancill. Nephew, Russell Bearden (Anne) and other special family members also survive.

Sheila was employed for many years by the Dixie Group in their accounting department. She was known for the deep love that she had for her son and daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. She also provided compassionate care and love for all animals.

Funeral services for Sheila Griffin Stancill will be held in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at Love Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Friday.
