Shirley Pinion Daffron

Shirley Pinion Daffron, 83, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Regency Park Health Care Center in Dalton. Mrs. Daffron is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lonnie Pinion.

Mrs. Daffron is survived by her husband of 65 years, Maurice Daffron; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Trenette Patton; her granddaughter, Sarah (Tyler) Greeson; her great-grandchildren, Esther Elizabeth, Tabitha Jane, and Charles Reece Greeson; her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jack Broadrick; her nephew, Scott (Debbie) Broadrick; and her great nieces and nephews, Mayleah, Marlee, Mitchell, and Mariel.

Mrs. Daffron showed her love for her Lord Jesus Christ first by her love for her entire family and by her service and ministry for many years at Dug Gap Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daffron will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Mills officiating. Entombment will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on the day of the funeral, Tuesday, July 27, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The family asks that flowers be omitted, and memorials be made to Dug Gap Baptist Church, 2031 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, GA 30720.
