Shirley Barton Harris

Shirley Barton Harris, 90, of Dalton passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late J.W. and Elizabeth Barton and was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Julie Wills and siblings, Richard Barton and Jean Pounders.

Shirley is remembered by her family for her generous heart.

She is survived by her children, Teresa L. Ridley (Tommy) and Chuck Harris (Debra); grandchildren, Allen Nance, Brad Nance, Rachel Clark, James Harris, Caleb Harris, and Mary Campbell Harris; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8th from 11 AM until 1 PM at ChristChurch Presbyterian.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grove Level Baptist Church.
