Stephen Howard Herzfeld

Stephen Howard Herzfeld, 91, of Ringgold, GA., passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Hilda Herzfeld, son, Clayton Standridge, and grandson, Christopher Woods.

Steve is survived by his wife, Shirley; his daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (Josh) Parsons; daughter, Kelly Weaver; son, Kenneth Standridge; and grandsons, Quinton, Oliver, and Charles Parsons, Justin (Amber) Weaver, Austin and Alex Standridge, and granddaughter, Brianne Standridge; and sister, Lila Rosen of New York. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Steve was born in New York, New York and he graduated from college at Tulane University. He served for a period in the United States Army as a Procurement Officer. He moved to Dalton in 1971, and he and his wife, Shirley, owned Dynasty Carpet and Rug. He was a member of Temple Beth El in Dalton prior to its closing.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Mizpah Congregation, 923 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN. 37403.
