Susan Bremner Maret

Susan Bremner Maret, 87, of Dalton, GA passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Born June 2, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Margaret Bremner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Randall Maret, her son-in-law, Sam Schuessler, and her brother-in-law, Hal Hayes.

Susan is survived by her children, Paige Maret of Dalton, Stacy Schuessler of Opelika, AL, and Ross Maret (Dawn) of Dalton; grandchildren, Sam Schuessler (Chloe), Lee Schuessler (Claire), Walker Maret (Fiancé, Amber Miller), and McCall Maret; sisters, Kathleen Bremner of Dalton and Barbara Hayes of Birmingham, AL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles Maret (Sarah) of Dalton, Sue Maret of Lavonia, GA, Lendon Gibbs of Royston, GA, and Bette Cowles (Bob) of Marietta, GA; special cousin, Alexandra Bremner of Fort Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services were held in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
