Teddy Neal Welch

Mr. Teddy Neal Welch, 65, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Cohran-Welch, father Raymond N. Welch and grandparents Millard and Eunice Welch and A.A. and Hester Sosebee.

Ted was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections, Probation Division. He was a member of Olivia Baptist Church of Dalton and a Gideon.

He is survived by his wife Denise Parker Welch of the residence; sons Zach Welch of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Brian Cohran of Dalton; grandchildren Connor and Kiersten Cohran of Dalton; mother and stepfather Barbara Jackson Templeton and Fred of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Susan Welch of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday at Olivia Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Beach and Rev. Randy Postell officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 9 PM.
