Tyson Barry Brown

Tyson Barry Brown, age 25, passed away on Friday, May 22 ^nd , 2020, in Oceanside California.

He was born on November 1 ^st , 1994 to Samantha Sistrunk. In 2013 he graduated from North Whitfield High school. Following graduation from high school Tyson started his path obtaining his bachelor’s in environmental science at the University of West Georgia. One of Tyson’s most proud accomplishments is obtaining Eagle Scout Status from the Boy Scouts of America. On July 9 ^th , 2018 Tyson left for Parris Island, South Carolina, starting his career in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his daughter, Tailynn Brown; Wife, Tanisha Brown; Mother, Samantha Sistrunk; Grandparents, Marshall and Karen Brown; Great-Grandmother, Laura “Pearl” Brown; Sister, Andrea Brown-Olson; Brother, Joshua Strickland; Aunt, Tara Peden; and several cousins.

The visitation will be held Friday, June 5 ^th , 2020 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Love Funeral Home, 1402 North Thornton Ave, Dalton Ga, 30720.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 6 ^th , 2020 at West Hill Cemetery starting at 12:30 pm, West Emery Street, Dalton Ga, 30720.
